St. Peter Parish

Located in Covington, Louisiana and established in 1843, St. Peter Catholic Church is the first and oldest Catholic Church parish on the Northshore. St. Peter Parish currently consists of over 3,000 families and supports over 70 ministries and apostolates.

St. Peter Catholic School is the first parochial school in Covington, established in 1878 by three Benedictine Sisters. It presently serves children from pre-kindergarten to seventh grade.

St. Peter Parish continues to provide for the growing and changing needs of the Northshore Catholic population.
